Safety regulations for polymerisation
• Each time before using, always check to make sure that the device is working per-
fectly and that the accessories are operable. In the event of faults the device must
not be used. Contact Customer Service if the device is affected by faults.
• Never point the light beam at anyone's eyes. Only point the light beam directly at
the polymerisation material
• Before each curing cycle check to make sure that the glare shield is fi tted to the
top of the handpiece.
• When folding together, make sure you do not trap or squash your fi ngers.
Avoid any direct contact between the Signum HiLite pre and the material to be poly-
merised. Polymerised composite residues on the light exit surface (1) impair light
emission and have a negative effect on subsequent cycles.
8. Cleaning
Clean the unit with a moist cloth, making sure that no water gets into the housing of
the device. Do not use aggressive detergents (abrasive powder, solvent).
Safety regulations for cleaning
• The exterior of the charging unit (7) and the handpiece is not protected against
the penetration of liquids! Avoid all contact between liquids and the surface and
the electrical contacts!
