7. MAINTENANCE
1. The insulation resistance between the winding and enclosure of electric pump shall be inspected
regularly, and the insulation resistance shall not be lower than 5MO (megaohm) in the working state, or
else technical support must be sought to meet the requirement prior to use.
2. After 2000 hours of normal use, electric pump shall be maintained by the following steps:
• disassemble: Check wearing parts, rolling bearing, mechanical seal, impeller, and pressure tank, etc.,
and timely replace the parts if damaged.
Airtightness test: After disassembling, repairing or replacing seals, hydraulic (air) pressure test shall be
carried out at the maximum working pressure. Leakage and sweating shall not be observed within three
minutes.
3. If electric pump is not used for a long time, it shall be kept properly at a dry and well-ventilated place
after pipelines are removed, water in the pump is drained out, and main parts are scrubbed clean and
kept properly.
The
insulation
resistance
shall not be lower than
5
MΩ (mégaohm) in the
working state.
No leakage or sweating shall
be observed within three
minutes.
Remove pipelines and drain
water out of the pump.
