Federal law restricts this device to sale on the order of a licensed healthcare
practitioner.
Do not clean instruments that cannot be submursed in water.
Do not use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean instruments that are rubber or plastic.
The heating function on the BioSonic UC150 (if enabled and applicable to the
model) takes place until set temperature is reached only. If the set temperature is
reached before the end of the cleaning cycle, the heater will shut off, but the cy-

cle will continue. Through prolonged use, the natural cavitation process will con-
tinue to heat the solution beyond the desired temperature, but at a decreased
rate without the heater. When this happens, the unit is still functioning properly.
Do not use petroleum based solvents, iodophors or phenolic based products to
clean the device. Iodophors and phenolics can stain the plastic surfaces of the
unit. Clean up all liquid spills immediately. Rust deposits on tank can be cleaned/
removed with a commercially available stainless steel cleaner.
Operation for long periods of time will cause the cleaning solution to get very
hot. To avoid scalding, do not place hands in the solution or spill any onto you.
Be careful when removing an item from the tank as it may also be hot. Bath
temperature on the display is accurate to within ± 2º C (± 3º F).
Do not operate the unit without sufficient solution in the tank. Failure to do so
may result in injury to personnel or equipment, including the risk of fire.
WARNING!
It is the responsibility of the user to verify that a cleaning cycle is effective. The
user must inspect all devices for a satisfactory level of cleaning before continuing
to the next step in the infection control process.
Power should not be supplied to the unit until all interconnections between the
display and tank enclosure and any accessories are securely connected.
This unit must be properly grounded. Failure to properly ground unit may result
