OmniDirect Compatibility
Use the procedure below to determine whether your lights support OmniDirect mode (lights built after
June 2018). If not, the lights will operate in UCL mode.

Hold down RESYNC/
SPEED and ENTER/
BRIGHTNESS buttons
for 5 seconds
NOTE: The following instruction are for both modes of operation but some features will only
function if the lights are in OmniDirect Lite mode.
Select Color or Show
To select a specific color or show, rotate the CENTER KNOB to the desired selection. The PREVIEW
WINDOW will display the desired color/show. Briefly push CENTER KNOB to save. The lights will
change to the new selection.
If you try to save the same color or show that is currently selected, the Light Controller will indicate
that no change will occur by blinking LED 1 (see LED Indicator Codes on page 10) and remain in
Show/Color mode.

If the pool light(s) flash
Sangria (purple) and
white, they support Omni-
Direct mode. If they flash
Warm Red and white,
they can only be used in
UCL mode

Rotate CENTER
KNOB to select
desired color or
show

If pool light(s) flash
purple and white -
Rotate the CENTER
KNOB to "Sangria"
and briefly push the
CENTER KNOB to save.
The lights will now
operate in OmniDirect
Lite mode

red and white - Rotate
the CENTER KNOB
to "Warm Red" and
briefly push the CEN-
TER KNOB to save.
The lights will now
operate in UCL mode
