Inspections prior to starting
Before starting, check that:
■
The filters are installed.
■
The closing band is properly tightened.
■
The vacuum hose and tools have been correctly fitted into
the vacuum inlet.
■
The bag or safety container is installed, if applicable.
Do not use the device if the filters are faulty.
Starting and stopping
■
Turn the main switch to "I" to electrically power the
machine.
■
Press the start button to start the machine.
■
Press the stop button to stop the machine.
■
Turn the switch to "0" to turn off the machine.
If the machine does not vacuum any air, the motor rotation
direction is wrong.
Disconnect the plug from the power socket and reverse two
of the three phase cables inside the electrical plug or the
panel to which the power cable is connected.
Emergency stopping
Turn the switch to "0" to turn off the machine.
Permissible number of starts per hour
The vacuum unit can be started a limited number of times per
hour. An excessive number of starts could cause the motor of
GB
the vacuum unit to overheat and be damaged.
The starts must be equally spaced out over time.
F
Limiting valve
The limiting valve (if equipped) operates when the vacuum unit
D
is used for long periods of time with the filter or hose completely
clogged (operation with the inlet closed).
These situations occur frequently when the vacuum unit is
E
installed in a room other than the place of work. When the
calibrated vacuum value is created on the valve, it opens to
allow air to enter the impeller. This prevents the impeller from
overheating and the electric motor from absorbing excessive
power.

[ NOTE ]
The limiting valve has been calibrated by the
manufacturer. Do not tamper with or change the
calibration. Failure to comply with these instructions
could jeopardize your safety. Moreover, such action
would immediately void the EC declaration of
conformity/incorporation issued with the machine.
At the end of a cleaning session
■
Turn off the machine and remove the plug from the socket.
■
Wind up the connection cable.
■
Empty the container and clean the machine as described
in the "Maintenance, cleaning and decontamination"
paragraph.
■
Wash the container with clean water if aggressive
substances have been vacuumed.
■
Store the machine in a dry place, out of reach of
unauthorised people.
■
Lock the castor brakes.
■
During transport and when not using the machine, close
the vacuum inlet with the relevant plug (if equipped).
