1. Insert the battery pack (7) into the belt sander slot and
press the battery until you hear the "click" of the
lock/unlock button (6). At this point the battery is fully
secured;
2. To remove, press the lock/unlock button and pull out the
battery.
Use VITO's 20V lithium-ion batteries.
1. Place the battery in the charger as you would place it in
the machine;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and the
charger can be hot, but this does not mean that they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool down before fitting into the machine.
1. Attach the dust bag by pushing it all the way in;
2. The dust is extracted directly into the dust bag through
the base of the sanding belt (11);
3. Pull out the dust bag to remove it.
For safety reasons it is essential that you use the dust
bag or a dust extraction system.
Use only sanding belts with matching dimensions and
holes.
Select a sanding belt that suits the material you are going
to work on.
▪ Pull the tension lever (12) to release the base. Pull the
lever all the way out;
▪ Remove the old sanding belt;
▪ Fit the new sanding belt. Note the direction of rotation
arrows on the sanding belt and the base of the sander.
The arrows should be facing the same side;
▪ Move the tension lever to the initial position.
After fitting new sanding belt, you must adjust its position.
▪ Plug the power cord into a socket and hold the sander
by its two handles (4, 5);
▪ Press the "ON/OFF" switch (10) to switch on the sander;
▪ Check that the sanding belt turns in its middle position.
If it is running off to one side, you must adjust it to the
middle position;
▪ Turn the adjustment knob (1) until the sanding belt turns
in the middle position.
