3.2. PREPARATIONS FOR OPERATION
POSITIONING THE MACHINE
Position the machine where good air circulation is ensured.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm from all sides
of the appliance. Keep the appliance away from any hot
surfaces. Always operate the appliance on a level, firm,
clean, fireproof, and dry surface and out of the reach of
children and individuals with reduced mental, sensory and
intellectual capacities.
BEFORE INITIAL USE
CAUTION: It takes 48 hours for the machine to be properly
prepared for the process of producing wax sheets. It is not
necessary to pre-soak the machine before each use. The
purpose of presoaking is to extend the life of the machine.
EN
1.
Immerse the machine in cold water, then open it so
that the die surfaces are completely covered with
water.
2.
Leave the appliance in cold water for 48 hours.
3.
After that time, take it out. Rinse the upper and lower
dies with water and soap (2-3 times) using a clean
cloth.
4.
Thoroughly dry the entire appliance.
5.
The machine is now ready for the production of wax
sheets.

Before starting work with the appliance, prepare the
equipment necessary for the process, including an additional
tank with cold water.
1.
To prevent wax from sticking to the frame (3) of the
appliance, coat it with a thin layer of cooking oil.
2.
Apply an appropriate amount of beeswax to the lower
die (2). Start at the inner edge (a), gradually moving
towards the outer edge.
3.
Close the machine (b) carefully to prevent air bubbles
2
from forming on the surface of the product.
4.
Press the edges of the machine (c) and hold for about
10 seconds. Excess beeswax will come out of the dies.
5.
Control the pressure on the machine so as not to
damage the product.
6.
Turn the press upside down and place it in an
external tank with water to cool the product faster.
The cooling time in water varies depending on the
season and the environmental conditions around the
appliance. Adjust the cooling time accordingly.
7.
Open the machine. Clean the frame of the appliance
of any excess beeswax.
8.
Gently remove the wax sheets.
9.
CAUTION: If the wax sheet breaks through or falls
apart after opening the machine, the product has not
been cooled properly.
10.
The temperature of the machine is important for the
correct process of producing the wax sheets and
should be lower than the perceived temperature.
This significantly affects the cooling process of the
sheet. Too high a machine temperature inadequately
removes heat from the melted beeswax.
11.
Before proceeding with the next process, place your
hand on the lower die after removing the sheet and
hold for about 10 seconds.
12.
Verify the temperature of the machine and adjust the
cooling time of the product.
