Beginning work with the machine
Dry and wet vacuuming
Attention:
Do not vacuum objects such as screws
and other metal parts or objects that may
cause damage to the machine!
• Connect the plug to the mains socket and press the ON/
OFF switch.
Attention:
When the nominal consumption is reached
while wet vacuuming, the float will cut off
the air suction.
No more liquid will be vacuumed and the
machine must be turned off and emptied.
Conclusion operation
Wet vacuuming
• Lift and push the Fixomat squeegee holder to the stop at
the rear and lower the Fixomat squeegee.
The Fixomat squeegee is in the parking position.

• Press the locking device on the intake and remove the suc-
tion hose.
• Loosen the fixation knobs on the squeegee.
• Remove the squeegee from the squeegee support.
• Clean the Fixomat squeegee with water using a brush.
• Lift off the vacuum lid and remove the float insert.
Dry vacuuming
• Firmly hold the ring of the filter cloth
with one hand.
• Hold the shackle on the base of the
filter cloth with the other hand and
shake it lightly.
In this way, the dust will fall to the
base of the tub without becoming
stirred up.
• Vacuum off the dirt using another vacuum cleaner.
Notice:
The soiled solution that has been picked
up must be disposed of in compliance with
the national regulations.
Attention:
The machine may only be used with a fully
functioning filter cloth!
Replace heavily worn or defective filter
cloths.
Tilt function
• Hold the chassis and slowly tilt the
tank to empty.
Carry function
• Push the levers that connect the tub
to the tilting frame outwards.
• You will now be able to lift the tank
from the frame and empty it.
• Rinse out the tank and the float insert.
The float insert must be maintained after every use.
• Re-assemble the machine.
Cleaning the float housing
• Remove the coarse filter (black) and
wash it out under running water.
• Unscrew the wing nut. The float can
now be pulled from the threaded rod.
Thoroughly clean the float and the
valve.
• Check that the float is not damaged.
• Push the float over the threaded rod and retighten the wing
nut.
• Check:
- that the float can be moved up and down easily.
- that the float covers the suction air inlet completely.
Attention:
This machine must never be operated
without the coarse filter.
