5.2 Before the first use
- Read the instructions and safety guidelines carefully before using the appliance.
- Remove all packing material and make sure that all parts as in chapter 7 Scope of delivery are present and in
proper condition.
- Wipe the appliance with a soft, slightly moistened cloth. Dry it off thoroughly.
5.3 Use
- Fill a sufficiently high cooking pot with water, fix the appliance vertically at the rim of the pot and make sure
that the water level is within the MIN-MAX marking. Take note that the water level rises when the vacuumed
food is added or falls when the water has evaporated. Make sure that the appliance has a firm hold on the rim
of the pot.
- Plug the cord into a suitable socket according to chapter 13 Technical specifications.
- Keep the ON/OFF button on the display pressed for more than 5 seconds to turn on the unit.
- Set the desired temperature SET TEMP by turning the adjustment wheel up or down. To switch between
°C and °F, simultaneously keep the ON/OFF and SET buttons pressed for two seconds.
- Now set the desired cooking time SET TIME. Press the SET button, the display for hours will flash. Use the
adjustment wheel to select the desired hours. Press the SET button again, the display for minutes flashes.
Use the adjustment wheel to select the desired minutes.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start the device.
- As soon as the water reaches the set temperature, an acoustic signal sounds every 3 seconds. To turn it off,
keep the SET button pressed for 2 seconds. Put the vacuumed food in the pot and check the water level.
Only after the set temperature is reached, the desired cooking time SET TIME starts to run. Note: This appliance
is equipped with a water level control. If the water level is below or above the minimum or maximum range, a
warning signal sounds. Correct the amount of water and keep the SET button pressed to turn the signal off.
- After 5 seconds, the display stops flashing and the dots between WORK TIME and SET TIME start flashing.
As soon as the first minute of the desired cooking time has elapsed, the already elapsed cooking time
WORK TIME is displayed.
- To change the desired temperature or cooking time during operation, press the button SET. As soon as the
respective display for temperature, hours or minutes flashes, you can change it with the adjustment wheel.
- After the set time has elapsed, an acoustic signal sounds every 3 seconds.
- Turn off the appliance by keeping the ON/OFF button pressed for 5 seconds and unplug the power cord from
the socket.
Risk of burns or injury!
Then carefully remove the food from the pot with a long pair of tongs.
- Allow the appliance and the water to cool completely before removing the device from the pot.
- Allow the appliance to dry completely on a waterproof surface.
