24-chamber lympha jacket
Alongside the manual lymph drainage and treatment with compression sto-
ckings, Apparative Intermittent Compression (AIC) is a method for the treatment
of oedema that is recognised world-wide and that is being developed continuo-
usly as a result of innovations from the user area.
The desire for a seamless intermittent compression method for arm oedemas
that included the upper torso quadrants led to the development of the lympha
jacket. This has enabled the active compression of the entire upper body. The
compression build-up starts at the fingertips and glides over the arms into the
back, thorax and stomach area.
The intermittent pressure build-up and reduction stimulates the lymph vasomo-
tor system, the oedema fluid is mobilised and discharging of the oedema fluid is
sustainably promoted.
Due to the simultaneous compression of both extremities, the potential displace-
ment of the oedema liquid into the other torso quadrants is prevented.
Put on the cuff and close the zip fastening fully.
The zip fastening should not be opened when the jacket is pressurised.
PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING SAFETY NOTICES:
The air chambers in the arm area restrict the freedom of movement of the hands
during the treatment. Please ensure that a second person is present during the
treatment who, in an emergency, will be able to switch off the device, or keep
the zip fastening of the arm that is not being treated openso that you are able to
switch off the device yourself.
Please use the external on / off switch. (Cable
remote control)
Always begin a series of therapy with the lowest
treatment pressure.
Maximum treatment pressure 50 mmHg
