Adjust the toasting before toasting the bread.
-
When adjusting the toasting control, remember that dry or thin slices of bread will toast
faster and require a lower adjustment. Slices of moist or thick bread will toast slower and
require a higher adjustment.
Cancel function
-
The toasting process can be interrupted at any time by pushing the Cancel button.
-
The pop-up lever will automatically lift the bread once toasted and the cancel light will
go out. If you wish to stop the cycle before the end of the cycle, simply press the Cancel
button.
Overheating function
-
Reheat toasts without over-toasting.
-
This function is activated and deactivated by pressing the reheat button at any time. When
the toast is overheated, the pop-up lever will automatically lift the toast. If you wish to
stop the cycle before the end of the cycle, simply press the Cancel button.
-
If the Reheat button is selected within the first 30 seconds of the toasting cycle, it will
cancel the toasting cycle. If the toasting cycle has been running for 30 seconds or more,
pressing the Reheat button will cancel the toasting cycle after 5 seconds.
Defrost function
-
The Defrost function allows you to toast bread directly from the freezer.
-
Your toaster will extend the toasting time to allow the bread to defrost.
-
This function is activated and deactivated by pressing the Defrost button at any time. If the
Defrost button is selected before the end of the toasting cycle, it will cancel the toasting
cycle. If the toast with defrost cycle has been running for longer than the normal toasting
cycle, pressing the Defrost button will deactivate the Defrost function and cancel the
toasting cycle after 5 seconds.
Lifting function
Use the lifting function to toast small pieces of bread. Once toasting is complete, simply lift the
lever from its rest position to raise the toast and make it easier to remove.
