DISCHARGE VALVE
This valve has the function of depressurising the pressure pot.
(PP25T/PP50T)
SAFETY VALVE
This valve operates by removing the pressurised air that
exceeds the pressure set for the pressure pot. Do not knock
or manipulate this valve and check that it operates correctly
on a periodic basis.
10. Stopping and cleaning
1. Disconnect the pressure pot from the air compressor.
2. Despressurise the pressure pot by first turning wheel (1) and
then wheel (2).
3. Once the pressure pot is open, clean with the appropiate
thinner.
4. Close it again and perform the start-up rouline, re-circulating
the thinner through the hoses and guns, as many times as
necessary.
11. Maintenance
Before starting to work, verify the state of the product hoses and the connections of the elements
through which the product flows.
In order to carry out maintenance or repairs, first disconnect the unit from the compressed air
distribution network.
Never move the unit by dragging it by the hoses.
Do not apply excessive force or inadequate tools for maintaining and cleaning the unit. Some repairs
must be done with special tools on some occasions. In these cases, you must contact the Customer
Service of ELCOMETER. Any handling of this product by non-authorised personnel would render the
warranty null and void.
The unit must be overhauled on a regular basis to check the status of its components and replace
these when they are not in perfect condition.
Do not use graphite greases as they dry out the joints, altering their operation.
