Automatic map-switching
When automatic map-switching is set to ON, the
system will automatically switch to the next map
when you have passed a guidance point.

when automatic map-switching is turned

How to operate the Area Shot function (U.S.A./CANADA only)
*:The guidance point route map may not be
displayed if the distance to the guidance
point is too short.
• When in automatic map-switching mode,
pressing
button to display the next or previous map
will turn automatic map-switching OFF.
Press and hold the [RTN] button for more
than one second to turn map-switching on
again.
Guidance tone
A guidance tone can be set to sound at certain
times, such as when the map is switched or
when entering the vicinity of a guidance point
(within about a 0.2 mile or 0.3 km radius).
Press the [CUSTOM] button for
