TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible cause
The volume is set at too low a level.
The instrument's sound system
is not functioning correctly.
The printer is off.
The printer cable is not properly connected.
The printer has a malfunction.
The settings are not correct.
The barcode reader is not connected or has
a malfunction.
The settings are not correct.
The battery pack's storage capacity decreases
as its service life progresses.
The internal clock's battery is empty.
Corrective action
Set volume according to the procedure described in
the chapter on personal settings.
Restart QuikRead go. If the problem persists,
contact Customer Service.
Make sure that the printer is connected and
its power is on. Check the settings.
If the problem is not solved, restart the instrument
and printer, and try printing again, from the Results
menu. If the problem persists, contact Customer
Service.
Make sure that the barcode reader is connected.
Check the settings. If the problem is not solved, re-
start the instrument and retry the barcode reading.
If the problem persists, contact Customer Service.
Replace the old battery pack with a new one, in
accordance with the procedure described
in the Section "Inserting a battery pack."
Replace the clock battery, in line with the procedure
described under "Changing the clock battery."
