Once you remove the plug, you will see the button cell type CR
1220 3V (3.0 volt button cell DL1220 / CR1220 / CR 1216. Note:
CR 1225 will not fit because it is too thick).
The button cell is held by a transverse metal strip. The battery
then pops out when you bend the metal strip in the middle slightly
to the edge. A pair of tweezers is helpful, with thumb and
forefinger it also works.
