As a result, the chain may rub against the fork when shifting to smaller chainrings while
the rear derailleur is on larger sprockets. To eliminate chain noise, once the chain is
on the smallest chainring, push the inner lever once again by 1 click (2nd push / Pos.A
- Fig.2).
When moving the rear derailleur onto smaller sprockets from Pos. A, to prevent the
chain from rubbing against the fork, press the front derailleur lever once or twice to
move into position B or C (1st push, 2nd push - Fig.3).
