Installation and connection
Distance from the pond
The unit must be installed outside of the pond, but is protected against temporary flooding.
• The unit head must be positioned so that it is usually dry.
• Bitron 120 W / 180 W: The switch box must be installed at least 2 m from the edge of the pond.

Complete protection against contact, dust-tight, protected from continuous im-
mersion in water to a depth of 0.1 m.
Protection against touching dangerous components with objects up to 1 mm di-
ameter.
Protection against splash water.
Dangerous UVC radiation.
Protect from direct sun radiation.
Completely drain the unit for temperatures below zero.
