2. The scale must be suspended from a strong support (for example, a strong rope or chain with a
strength of 5 times the load capacity of the scale).
3. Hang the scale vertically, switch the scale on.
4. If you switch on the scale or tare when the scale is in the horizontal position, the vertical
measurement will not be correct.
5. Attach the scale to the designated carrier by unscrewing the retaining pin on the top hook.
Remove the top hook from the scale, making sure that none of the rubber washers on the scale
are in the wrong place.
6. Then place the top hook onto the selected carrier. Reattach the top hook to the scale using the
locating pin. Secure the connection with a pin.
7. Make sure the scale is secured before placing the lower hook in the lower hook hole.
8. Place the items to be weighed on the bottom hook.
9. Remove the load from the scale immediately after weighing it. Damage to the scale can be caused
by the load staying on the scale for a long time.
3.3.1.
Calibration.
Switch on the scale, press and hold the HOLD/UNIT button for 2 seconds, the display will show CAL and the
calibration value. Load the standard scale according to what the display shows. The display will show the
next calibration value, load the standard scale according to what the display shows. If the calibration is
successful, the display will show PASS. If the calibration fails, the ON/OFF button can be pressed.

Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
b)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried completely before using it again.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge it in water.
e)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its technical efficiency and spot any damage.
f)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be used for a longer period of time.
g)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
h)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
i)
Do not clean the device with an acidic substance, agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or
other chemical substances because it may damage the device.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
1.5V AAA batteries are installed in the devices.
Remove used batteries from the device using the same procedure by which you installed them.
Recycle batteries with the appropriate organisation or company.
DISPOSING OF USED DEVICES:
Do not dispose of this device in municipal waste systems. Hand it over to an electric and electrical device
recycling and collection point. Check the symbol on the product, instruction manual and packaging. The
plastics used to construct the device can be recycled in accordance with their markings. By choosing to
recycle you are making a significant contribution to the protection of our environment.
