1) Learning

2) Preparation

When using this appliance, always wear protective footwear and long trousers.

Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery, as these may be caught in the air intake. Keep long hair away
from the air intakes.

Wear protective eyewear during use.

A face mask is recommended to prevent irritation from dust.

Before use, check that the power cable and extension cord are not damaged or worn. Do not use the
appliance if the power cord is damaged or worn.

Never use the appliance if its guards and covers are defective or without its safety devices, for example
if the collection bag is not fitted.

Only use weatherproof extension cords with a connector that complies with IEC 60320-2-3.
3) Use

Always run the power cable to the rear, away from the appliance.

If a power cable is damaged during use, unplug it immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CABLE
UNTIL THE POWER IS TURNED OFF.

If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its repairer or an equally qualified
person for safety reasons.

Only use extension cords with a minimum specification of H05VV-F 2 x 1.0 mm².

Do not carry the appliance by its power cord.

Unplug the unit.
Whenever you leave the unit unattended;
Before removing the object causing the blockage;
Before inspecting, cleaning or working on the unit;
If the unit starts to vibrate abnormally.

Use the unit only in daylight or under sufficient artificial light.

Never try to reach hard-to-reach places and always keep a good balance.

On slopes, always be sure of your footing.

Use the machine while walking, never while running.

Make sure that all cooling vents are kept free of debris at all times.

It is recommended that this machine be used at reasonable times of the day, avoiding times of the day
when neighbours may be disturbed, e.g. early morning or late evening.

It is recommended that the residue is separated with a broom or rake before vacuuming/blowing.

When using in a dusty environment, it is recommended to slightly dampen the surfaces or use a mister.

It is recommended that the appliance is operated with the extension nozzle fully extended so that the
airflow is as close to the floor as possible.
4) Maintenance and storage

Ensure that all nuts, bolts and screws are tight to ensure that the unit remains in good working order.

Inspect the collection bag frequently for wear and damage.

Replace worn or damaged parts.
