the door can only be opened during a call.
The electric lock management criteria is
crucial for correct system operation.
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY. ONLY THE CONFIGURATIONS
DESCRIBED BELOW CAN BE IMPLEMENTED.
− In systems with one main calling station
and no secondary calling stations, the
calling station can be configured according
to either the FREE or PRIVACY method.
− In systems with several main calling
stations (automatic switching), the calling
modules
according to the PRIVACY method.
− In stations with one or more secondary
calling stations, the main calling station(s)
must be programmed according to the
PRIVACY method.
The secondary calling station(s) on the
other hand, can be programmed according
to either the FREE or the PRIVACY
method.
In the first case, following a call from the
main station, the door opener button on
the called apartment station will operate
the lock connected to the main calling
station and the lock connected to the
secondary stations which depends from
the specific apartment station.
In the latter case, following a call from
a main station, the door opener button
on the called apartment station will open
the lock connected to the main calling
station only. A second call will need to be
made from the secondary station to open
the door lock connected to this station.
5) Door opening time
This parameter is the time (expressed in
seconds) for which the electrical lock current
is held.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS set the door opener
time to 0 if electrical striker locks are used.
The door opener time can be set to a value
from 1 to 30 ONLY if low intake locks are
used.
6) Call tone time
The parameter indicates the duration of
the apartment station calling tone. You
are advised to program the same time
for all calling stations. Permissible values
(expressed in seconds) are from 1 to 5.
24
must
all be programmed
7) Number of voice lines
You will need to specify the number of
lines in the system (Main and Secondary).
Permissible values are 1 and 2.
8) Buzzer volume
The volume of tones (button beeps, call
beep, end of conversation beep, etc.) can
be set to three possible levels: Low (1),
Medium (2), High (3).
9) Code associated to Button T1
Specify the code associated to the first button
if combined with a module Ref. 825/201 or
/202. Set the concierge switchboard apartment
station code to program the button to call a
specific concierge switchboard in day or night
operation (as long as the switchboard is on).
Set the parameter to "0000" on the other hand
to program the button to call any switchboard in
day operation. Consequently, the programmable
code are from "0000" to "JJJJ".
10) Code associated to Button T2
This is the code associated to the other
button on the optional Ref. 825/202 module.
The programmable code are from "0000" to
"JJJJ".
11) Storing the configuration password and
door code programming password (the
latter automatically).
The four digit password can only be
numeric. The programmed password
can later be used to access module
configuration without needing to open the
K-Steel frame. The configuration password
programming procedure will automatically
enable a second password for programming
names and door opener codes. The second
password will result from the first plus one
unit, e.g. if the first code is "1234", the name
and door opener programming code will be
"1235".
The installer can provide ONLY the second
password to other people (condominium
administrator, concierge attendant, etc.) for
programming the names and door opener
codes, preventing the risk of them tampering
with the configuration parameters. The
programmable codes are from 0001 to
9998.
Note: Terminal ref. 1038/55 can be set up only
for English, Italian, French, Spanish and
German.
