IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock, and/or injuryto persons, including the following:
1). Read ali instruclions and information in this book and
any other literature included in this carton referring to
this product priorto operating or using this appliance.
2). Do not leave appliance unattended while in use. Unplug
from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
3). Use indoors only.
4). Do not expose to rain. Store indoors only. Do not sto re
in temperature below freezing.
5). The appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
6). Use this system following the directions described in
this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended
attachments.
7). Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is
not working as it should, had been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors, or dropped into water, contact an
authorized Service Center.
8). Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as handle, close
door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord
awayfrom heated surlaces.
9). Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, hold the
plug and pull out ofthe socket.
10).
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
11).
Turn off ali controls before unplugging the machine.
12). Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
13). Do not use with flammable or combustible liquids, such
as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
14). Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See
Grounding Instructions.
15). CAUTION. Risk 01 scalding. Do not remove steam
boiler lilling cap while unit is ono Release ali pressure
from the boiler and let the machine cool down
completely belore unscrewing the boiler cap. Press
button on handle or on iron to make sure boiler is empty
of residual pressure steam before each refilling, make
sure the boiler is empty and has no residual pressure
steam by pressing the button.
16). Do not immerse in water.
17). When using this appliance with iron accessory, basic
precautions must be taken, including the following:
• Usethe iron forits intended use only.
• To reduce electric shock risk, do not immerse iron into
water or other liquids.
• The iron must always be turned to "Off" belore
connecting or removing it from the socket. Never pull
on the cord to remove it from the socket: instead,
grasp the plug and pull itto disconnectthe appliance.
• Keep cord away from hot surfaces. Leave the iron to
cool completely before putting it away. Wrap the cord
around the iron.
• Always unplug the iron from the electric socket when
refilling or emptying the tank or when the appliance is
notin use.
• Do not use with damaged cord or if the iron has been
dropped or is in some way damaged. To reduce
electric shockrisk, do nottryto openthe iron butseek
qualified personnel to examine the damage and
possible repair. Incorrect assembly can cause
electric shock during use.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is
used by children. Do not leave unattended when
connected to the power supply or on an ironing
board.
• Touching the hot metal parts, hot water or steam can
cause burns.
• The iron must be used and rested on a stable surlace.
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the
surface on which the stand is placed is stable.
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach 01 children
less than 8 years 01 age when it is energized or
cooling down.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
• To avoid overloading, do not use a high wattage
second appliance at the same time using the same
circuit.
·If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 15A
extension cord must be used. Cord rated for a lower
load may overheat. Take care not to stretch the
extension or let ittwist.
WARNING!
·In the case of faults, defects or suspected damage
following a fall, unplug it lrom the power socket and
contact an Authorized Service Center. Only Authorized
Service Centers may perform repairs and maintenance
jobs. Do notdismantlethe cleaneryourself.
• Ali liabilities lor damage to property and/or injury to
persons will be declined if the cleaner is not serviced in
compliance with correct safety standards, if non-originai
components are used, and/or it is serviced by
unauthorized personnel.
• Before connecting the appliance, make sure the voltage
corresponds to that indicated on the sticker and that the
electric socket supply is earthed.
• Do not direct steam at people, ani mais or appliances that
contain electrical parts such as the inside of ovens.
• Never add detergent, alcohol, perfume or descaling
products to the tank, if not expressly recommended by the
manulacturer as this could negatively affect operation .
• Before using the appliance, make sure the objects,
surfaces and fabrics in use are resistant or compatible
with high steam temperatures. Consult manufacturer's
instructions in particular for tiled Iloors, wood surfaces
and delicate labrics, such as silk or velvet, carrying out a
test on a hidden area or sample.
• Do not use in areas where danger of explosions exist.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the appliance malfunctions, or il it is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized Service Center for examination, repair or
electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• Do not let others use the appliance if they are not
acquainted with operation.
