Making sausages
•
Soak the sausage casing in lukewarm water for 10-20 minutes. The water makes it
easier to fill.
•
Tie a knot at one end of the sausage casing.
•
Slide the open end of the sausage casing over the filling tube, up to the knot.
•
Fill the feed hopper with the sausage mixture.
•
Plug in the unit and turn the speed control knob to 4-6.
•
Ensure the sausage mixture comes out in a slow and even manner. Use the pusher to
push the sausage mixture into the mincer tube.
•
Should the sausage casing stick to the filling tube, dampen it with water.
•
Once the sausage casing has been filled, pull out approx. 20 cm of unfilled casing, then cut it.
•
Compress the sausage meat to achieve the desired sausage size and then twist the end
twice to tightly seal the end of the sausage. Repeat this process until all the sausages
have been made; then tie a knot at the end of the last sausage.
NOTE: Before cooking, pierce the sausages with a sharp knife or skewer to prevent
them from exploding during the cooking process.
•
To switch off the unit, turn the speed control knob to 0.
•
Always unplug the unit from the mains socket whenever you have finished using it.

pieces with flour to prevent them from sticking.
