Connecting the pipes
It is essential to use a suction fitting with a suction filter, a strainer and a
non-return valve so that the water does not overflow when the pump is
switched off and to prevent damage from dirt.
Do not use connection systems with quick couplings on the suction side.
The suction line can be a fixed pipe or a flexible pipe. It must have a
minimum cross-section of 25mm. For fixed pipes, or in case of suction
heights of more than 4 m, the use of a larger cross section is recommended.
