1. Remove the cap (1) from the water inlet (2).
2. Mount the suction line on the water inlet sleeve (2) (1" internal
thread). Screw it tightly.
3. Remove the cap (4) from the water outlet (5).
4. Mount a supply line on the water outlet sleeve (5) (1" internal thread).
Screw it tightly.
Operation of the garden pump is not guaranteed if there is air in the
suction line.
Filling the pump
The pump must be filled with water before each start-up. This ensures an
immediate start. Dry running will destroy the pump.
1. Open the filling screw (3) on the unit.
2. Fill water up to the fill mark and screw the filling screw (3) back in.
Checks before commissioning
Check that the electrical connection is 230 V ~ 50 Hz.
Check that the electrical socket is in good condition (at least 10A).
Check that the cable and electrical connections are protected against
moisture. There is a risk of electric shock.
Check the suction line. The suction end of the suction line must be in
water.
Check the supply line. The outlet end of the supply line must already
be in the watering position.
Putting into operation
Putting into operation :
On/Off switch (6) in position "I".
Following a suction time, the pump starts to discharge.
Switching off :
On/Off switch (6) in position "0".
Prevent the pump from running dry.
Monitor the unit during operation and the water supply. If there is not
enough water available, switch off the pump immediately.
