Maintenance tips
Carry out the following cleaning and maintenance work regularly. This ensures
long and reliable operation:
If you have work carried out that is not described in these instructions,
please contact our service department. Use only original parts. This will
prevent damage to the device and possible consequences for people.
Disconnect the pump from the mains before any maintenance work. There
is a danger of electric shock or injury from moving parts.
General cleaning work
Ne Do not immerse the unit in water or clean it under running water.
There is a risk of electric shock and the appliance could be damaged.
Clean the unit with a damp cloth.
If the unit is clogged, remove the suction line and the supply line. Remove
foreign bodies by rinsing with water and clean the suction filter.
All measures beyond those described here, in particular opening the pump,
should only be carried out by an electrician. If repairs are required, please
contact our service centre.
Draining the pump
If there is a risk of freezing and before a long period of non-use (e.g. winter), the
pump must be completely drained.
1. Open the drain screw (8) and drain the water from the pump.
2. Rinse the pump with clean water.
Storage
Keep the unit clean, dry and out of reach of children.
For storage, drain the pump (see "Draining the pump").
