IMPORTANT - SECURITY INFORMATION
. The installation must be carried out by professional technicians and according to the national and european safety regulations in force.
. After removing the packing check the integrity of the appliance. If in doubt contact qualified personnel.
. The packaging (carton, plastic bags, clips, polystirene etc.) must be disposed of properly in the appropriate containers. It must not be left within the reach
of children.
. The installation, the electrical connections and the adjustments must be carried out perfectly; check that the data on the specification plate correspond
to those of the mains supply and that the connection cable cross-section is suitable for the applied loads, in case of doubt contact qualified personnel.
N.B. The switch activating the set must be visible and installed at a height not superior to 1,5m and far away from items in movement.
. Do not install the appliance in premises with danger of explosion or disturbed by magnetic fields. The presence of gasses or inflammable fumes is a great
danger for the safety.
. Ensure that there is and/or to forseen upstream of the set a section device with a 3mm opening distance between the terminals.
. The gate, door, rolling shutter or barrier should bear a plate indicating that they are remotly controlled.
. ELVOX S.p.A. will not accept liability for any damage caused by the incorrect installation of devices and/or components not suitable for the integrity, the
safety and the operation of the unit.
. The product must only be used for the purposes for which it was designed. Any other use is incorrect and hence dangerous.
. Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work, disconnect the unit from the mains supply, either by unplugging the power cord or by switching off
the mains supply.
. Any repair work or replacement of damaged parts must be carried out by qualified personnel using original parts and components.
. The installer must supply all the information concerning the operation, the maintenance and the use of the single components and the whole system.

MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
The control unit can be mounted on an external wall by means of 2 screws.
Remove the screws from the lower section of the receiver and remove the cover.
The base of the receiver can be fixed directly to the wall or in a standard 3-module backbox.
In the case of external use, cables must be routed using cable clamp types PG7 in the relative seats.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
The control unit is powered at 230 V and is protected by means of a
Vac. The safety devices and accessories are powered in low voltage at 12 Vac by a transformer. Mains power supply: N (Neutral) - F (Phase). The red LED
indicating voltage present turns on when the control unit is powered. Motor power supply: M (opening and closing terminals) - COM 1 (common).
DESCRIPTION OF EC50 CONTROL CARD FUNCTIONS

230VAC motors are started at full power using buttons connected to the terminal block or the remote control: max. 600 W.

The card is prepared for operating in various modes. Various functions are set using a 2-way dip-switch.

NOTE:
- Press the "RESET" key every time the DIP-SWITCH value is changed.
- Use of photocells and safety devices compliant with current regulations is mandatory for automatic operation.
1.2.
OPEN/CLOSE BUTTONS
With one button, OPEN, the actuator motor is started in opening mode. Operation depends on programming of DIP-SWITCH 1:
-
If set to OFF (AUTOMATIC) by pressing the key and releasing it, the automation carries out the movement for the time pre-set with the STROKE trimmer.

If set to ON (MAN PRESENT), the key must be kept pressed for the entire activation time.
The CLOSE button carries out the opposite manoeuvre.
NOTE: In MAN PRESENT operation, it cuts out operation of the rain sensor and anemometer.
