Recording your greeting
You can record your own
greeting. If you want to use the
pre-recorded greetings, skip
this section.
Your own greeting will be used
for both the normal and
announcement only modes.
The pre-recorded greetings
cannot be used unless you erase
your own recorded greeting*

If more than 20 seconds elapse
after pressing SET/REC, the
operation is canceled and you
must start over again.

You can record only one
greeting, and it will boused
regardless of the answering
mode. Therefore, if you
decide to change modes,
make sure that you record
a new greeting to match the
answering mode.

Press SET/REC
You hear the recorded instructions*

Press GREETING.
You hear the recorded instructions*

After you hear the tone, start recording.
Speak about 30 cm (12 inches) away from the
microphone.
The greeting must be between 2 seconds and 4 minutes*
If it is less than 2 seconds, you will hear five short error
beeps, and you must start over again.
If the 4-minute limit is exceeded, recording automatically
stops*

Press SET/REC to stop recording.
The answering machine automatically replays the
greeting you recorded*

full
while

You will hear five short error beeps and the recording will be
canceled.
