3 Telephone stand
When you install the answering machine
horizontally/ you can place your telephone
on this surface.
4 SPEAKER VOLUME control
Adjusts the votume of the speaker. It has no
effect on the recording level of your
greetings or of your memo messages.

AUDIBLE IND/ANNOUNCE ONLY
(audible indlcatorfannouncement
only) switch
Turns on or off a beep when there are new
messages recorded.
Also selects the announcement only mode.
6 POWER Indicator
Lights when the answering machine is
connected to AC power line.
Also indicates that the batteries are of
sufficient power. Flashes if the batteries
have not been inserted/ or if their power is
low.
7 GREETING button
Records your greeting.
8 SET/REC button
Records your greeting/ sets the day and
time/ or sets a security code.
9 TIME button
Sets the day and time.
10 ANSWER ON/OFF button
Turns the answering function on or off.
11 ANSWER ON indicator
Lights when the answering function is
turned on.
Flashes when there are new messages
that have not been played back.

button
Records a memo message.
13 SKIP button
Skips a message when playing back
recorded messages.

Repeats a message when playing back
recorded messages.

Erases messages.
