You cannot hear anything
from the speaker.
• Use the
SPEAKER VOLUME
control to increase the speaker
volume.
"P" flashes in the message
counter
• You are connecting the answering machine to an AC outlet for the
first time or alter a power interruption.
Press any button to turn it off.
The POWER indicator
flashes.
• The batteries are not installed in the base unit.
Install the batteries (see page 10).
• The batteries are dead.
Replace them with new ones.
