Install the front wheel (see Owner's Manual/repair manual).

Take the motorcycle off the lift stand (see Owner's Manual/repair manual).

Clamp the outside fork tube in the area of the lower triple clamp with the special tool.
Clamping stand (T1403S)

Tighten cartridge .
Guideline
Screw cap on outside fork tube
Ring wrench (T14017)
Unclamp the fork leg.

50 Nm (36.9 lbf ft)
