Remove chips and similar material only with the
machine at standstill.
Materials that generate dusts or vapours that may
be harmful to health (e.g. asbestos) must not be
worked.
Never attempt to charge the
battery pack with two chargers
simultaneously.
Protect the charger from moisture.
Danger - electrical voltage!
Only use the charger indoors.
Keep children away from the battery charger and
the working area! Keep your battery charger out of
reach of children!
Pull out the mains plug immediately if the battery
charger starts to smoke or flames emerge!
Do not insert objects into the ventilation slots on
the battery charger – there is a danger of electric
shocks and short circuits!

6 Initial Operation
Charger:
Before plugging in, check to see that
the rated mains voltage and mains
frequency, as stated on the rating
label, match with your power supply.
Minimum distance to other objects is
5 cm.

7 Use of PowerGrip
7.1
Battery pack
Charge the battery pack before use.
Removing battery pack: Press battery pack
release (3) and take out battery pack (4).
Inserting battery pack: Insert battery pack (4)
until it engages.

Setting the direction of rotation,
engaging the transporting safety
device (switch-on lock)
Only activate the changeover switch
(6) when the motor is at a standstill!
Activate the changeover switch (direction of
rotation setting, transporting safety device) (6).

Setting torque control
Turn selector barrel (2).
1...5 = Torque setting (with torque
control) - intermediate
positions are also possible.
= Max. torque, with torque control.
To avoid motor overloading,
do not lock the spindle.

speed
To start the machine, press the trigger switch (5).
The speed can be changed at the trigger switch by
pressing.
8 Use of battery charger
The maximum number of charge cycles can
only reached if an exhaustive discharge of the
battery pack is avoided. If performance dimin-
ishes, recharge the battery pack.
8.1
Charging battery pack
The operation display (7) flashes (2 seconds on, 1
second off).
Note: A battery pack that is new or has not been
used for some time only reaches full capacity after
being charged and discharged several times.
