8. Care instructions for the user
8.1. Cleaning and disinfection
Cleaning
• Make sure that the scooter is switched off before starting to clean it.
• The frame components and panels of the scooter can be wiped with
a damp cloth. You can use a standard mild cleaning agent if they are
very dirty.
• The wheels can be cleaned with a damp brush with plastic bristles (do
not use a wire brush)
• You can use a damp cloth to remove dust and minor dirt from the
seat, back rest and armrests. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents
because they may attack the surface of the material. The upholstery
can be washed with
• warm water at 40 °C.
• Make sure that the electrical and electronic components do not come
into contact with water unnecessarily.
Disinfection
• The scooter must be thoroughly cleaned in accordance with the
instructions prior to disinfection.
• Use a standard disinfectant for wipe disinfection.
• Spray the upholstery and handles.
• Allow the disinfectant sufficient time to work before wiping off, as
specified in the manufacturer's instructions.
• Make sure that the electrical and electronic components do not come
into contact with liquid unnecessarily.

Do not use a high-pressure or steam cleaner.
8.2. Batteries
Your scooter is equipped with maintenance-free gel batteries whose fluid
level doesn't need to be checked.
If your scooter is not used for an extended period, the charger should be
connected about every 4 weeks to prevent damage to the batteries
by deep discharge.
Before embarking on any journey, just check the charge status of your
battery on the battery status display located on your controller. If the
battery status display is in the low range, do not travel longer distances
and promptly connect the battery charger to the scooter. We recommend
connecting the charger to the scooter after every journey.
8.2.1. Charging
Only use approved chargers to charge the batteries (type in accordance
with the technical data or as delivered by the Bischoff & Bischoff dealer
Fig. 39).
Please also follow the operating instructions for the charger!
Do not charge frozen batteries.
The batteries must be charged when the temperature is between 0° and
40°C.
When using the scooter for the very first time, we recommend driving
until just 3 bars are visible in the display (see Chapter 6.1) and recharge
the batteries at that point.
In the event that this charge level is displayed, you should recharge the
batteries as soon as possible in order to avoid deep discharge.
Recharging requires approx. 12 - 16 hours.
When using the product after that, you can recharge the batteries at any
battery charge level.
You can interrupt the charging procedure even if the batteries are not
fully charged, if you need to continue driving, for example.
