8.3. Fuses
In addition to the overload switch (see Chap. 6.6), there is also a fuse in
the battery cable (Fig. 42).
9. Maintenance instructions
Typical wear parts are brakes and tyres. Contact your dealer for spare
parts.
We recommend that you take your wheelchair to your dealer for inspec-
tion at least once a year.
If there are faults or defects, take the wheelchair to your dealer immedi-
ately for repair.
The information and documentation required for repair and maintenance
shall be supplied to the mobility dealer on request.
If you have questions, you can contact the Bischoff & Bischoff customer
service. You can find the contact details for Customer Service on the back
cover of this instruction manual.
9.1. Maintenance instructions for
the Specialist trade
Maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the Bischoff &
Bischoff maintenance schedule.
A maintenance plan is provided on request. A training programme for
the specialist trade is also available.

You must check your wheelchair regularly according
to the maintenance schedule and find it to be in
good working order.
10. Repair
Repairs and maintenance work may only be carried out by
authorised partners (medical supply stores or specialist dealers). Please
call our customer service department to find a partner in your area.
The customer service contact details can be found on the back of these
operating instructions.
11. Storage / Shipping
If the scooter is to be stored or shipped, all attachable and unsecured
parts must be removed and packed individually in appropriate cartons.
The individually packed parts can then be packaged together in a larger
carton. We recommend keeping the original packaging and storing it
with these purposes in mind so that it is available if required. Your scooter
then has optimum protection against environmental influences
during storage or transport.
When storing your scooter, please observe the information in the
technical data. To prevent mould growth and damage to the uphol-
stered parts, the storage location should be as dry as possible and
not be exposed to direct sunlight.
12. Disposal
If your scooter is no longer being used and is to be disposed of, please
contact your mobility dealer.
If you wish to dispose of the product yourself,
contact local waste management companies to
enquire about the waste disposal regulations
that apply to your place of residence.
