6. OPERATION
1. Engine start
WARNING
Before starting the engine, inspect the entire unit for loose connections or fuel leaks and verify that the
cutting attachment is properly installed and secure. Place the unit on a flat, firm surface. Keep the trimmer
head clear of everything around it.
1. Rotate the cap to the fuel tank to make sure it is securely attached (fig. F8).

2. Open fuel tank cock (fig. F9).
3. Move choke lever to closed position (fig. F9).
(1) Start lever (2) Fuel valve
(3) Closed (4) Open (5) Closed (6) Open
NOTE: When restarting immediately after stopping the engine,
move the choke lever to the open position.
4. Set the throttle lever to the starting position (fig. F10).
(1) At idle
(2) Start (1/3 - 1/2 open)
(3) Full throttle
When restarting immediately after stopping the engine, move the throttle lever to the idle position.
5. While holding the unit firmly, pull the starter rope quickly (fig. F11).
6. After the engine has started, open the choke gradually.
7. Let the engine run for 2-3 minutes to warm up.
2. Engine stop
1. Return throttle lever to idle position.
2. Press the engine switch button.
3. Harness equipment (fig. F12)
1. Put on the supplied harness.
2. Start the engine, put the throttle lever to the lowest speed position and put the harness hook
on the hanging part of the machine.
3. Adjust the length of the harness strap so that the blade can be parallel to the ground in the
working position. In order to avoid slack during work, raise the extra part of the band to the buckle.
