NOTICE: Failure to comply with these specifications may decrease the effectiveness of the backwash and
cause control valve malfunction. The water softener, like any other appliance, requires correct installation
and setting for optimum performance.
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Prior to installation on metallic plumbing, securely install two grounding clamps and
a #4 copper wire per installation instructions. Failure to follow these instructions can
result in death or electric shock.
