7. While still pushing down the backrest slightly as
described in step 6, hold the backrest at the center of
the head end B and carefully fold up the backrest into
the end position.
Risk of Damage
Damage to the product due to incorrect
assembly of the backrest.
– Make sure that both hooks B of the
backrest engage into the hinges C of the
seat plate.
– Make sure that the backrest is folded up to
the end position without exerting force and
noticeable resistance. The end position is
indicated in the following graphic.

To connect the hand control A with the bath lift, plug
the jack socket with the unlocking sleeve C to the jack
plug D until the locking mechanism engages noticeably.
Risk of Damage
– Make sure that the backrest doesn't touch the
bathtub edge.
– Place the bath lift further forwards in the
bathtub, if necessary. To place the bath lift
further forwards in the bathtub lower the bath
lift to the bottom, loosen the suction cups and
then move the bath lift.
4.3 Charging Battery
The bath lift cannot be used when the battery is charging.
WARNING!
Risk of Electric Shock
– Only recharge the battery in dry rooms at room
temperature (15 °C to 25 °C) and never in the
bathroom.
