IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:

This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions,
the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
• Read these safety tips carefully. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for improper use
or failure to comply with these instructions
WARNING
: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, damage or injury:
- Fully assemble vacuum before operating.
- Use and store in a dry location.
- Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces
- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when
used by or near children or when used near pets. Do not use on pets.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's
recommended attachments
- Turn off all controls before unplugging
- Do not use without dust bag and/or filters in place
- Always turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting
motorized nozzle
- Do not use charger with damaged cord or plug.
If appliance or charger is not working as it should, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service
center.
- Do not pull or carry charger by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door
on the cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run
appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not unplug charger by pulling on cord. To unplug charger, grasp
the plug, not the cord.
- Do not handle charger, including charger plug, and charger terminals
with wet hands.
- Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air
flow.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from
openings and moving parts.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as
cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
- Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as
gasoline or use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not attempt to service the unit while charger is plugged in.
- Do not charge the unit outdoors.
- Remove the battery before carrying out any maintenance on the
vacuum cleaner

- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position
before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the
appliance. Carrying the appliance with your finger on the switch or
.
energizing appliance that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing appliance. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the appliance
accidentally.
- Recharge only with the charger (Part No. SS-2230002750 for
RH98A2U1, Part No. SS-2230002949 for RH99A2U1 and RH99F2U1)
specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type
of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another
battery pack.
- Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs
(ZR0097U5 for RH98A2U1, ZR0097U2 for RH99A2U1, ZR0097U2 for
RH99F2U1). Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury
and fire. For safety reasons, the battery pack should only be accessed
by a professional repairer.
- When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal
objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery;
avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If
liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected
from the battery may cause irritation or burns
- Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified.
Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
- Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive
temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 140°F (60°C)
may cause explosion.
- Do not open, crush or expose to heat above 140ºF (60ºC) or
incinerate the battery, even if it is severely damaged. The battery
may explode in a fire.
- The device should only be stored in the temperature range of 32°F to
113°F (0°C to 45°C), used between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C)
and charged only in the range of 33.8°F to 113°F (1°C to 45°C).
- Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack
or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the
instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the
specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
- Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the
product is maintained.
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack
(as applicable) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.
- Batteries should be disposed of responsibly. Contact an authorised
dealer for information on battery disposal.

Polarization instructions
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock this plug is intended to
fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a
qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
User maintenances
Always turn off the vacuum cleaner and remove the battery before
performing any service.
Battery disposal
- Please remove the battery before discarding it.
- Batteries must be disposed of responsibly. Contact an Authorized
Retailer for information on battery disposal

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment
generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from
that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Depending on model:
SOLUTIONS
This is perfectly normal. The vacuum cleaner can remain
permanently connected to the charger without any risk.
Check that the charger is properly connected or contact an
Approved Service Centre to change the charger.
Stop the appliance and leave it to cool down for at least 1 hour.
Recharge the vacuum cleaner.
Stop the vacuum cleaner and clean them.
Contact an Approved Service Centre to change the brush.
Contact an Approved Service Centre to change the belt.
Stop the vacuum cleaner. Check that nothing is obstructing the
rotation of the brush; if there is an obstruction, remove it and clean
the power-brush, then turn on the vacuum cleaner.
Unblock them.
Empty it and clean it.
Re-position it correctly.
Remove the power-brush and clean it.
Clean it.
Contact an Approved Service Centre to change the charger.
Stop vacuuming and check that there is nothing blocking the
rotation of the brush.
Leave the product to rest for 30 minutes. If the problem persists,
replace the battery.
Clean the tube and suction head connectors with a cloth.
Contact an Approved Service Centre to have your appliance repaired.
