THE FORWARD
AND REVERSE
BUTTONS
These buttons are convenient for seeking a specific
program within a disc. The optical pick-up is quickly ad-
vanced by pressing the FORWARD button and is quick-
ly moved
in the reverse
direction
by pressing
the
REVERSE
button, enabling selection of the desired
track.
Moreover, these buttons are designed with a hard-soft
action system. Pressing lightly moves the optical pick-
up slowly; pressing strongly moves it rapidly. Continued
pressure on a button causes its movement to continue
and releasing it causes playback to begin.
When one of these buttons is pressed strongly, the opti-
cal pick-up moves for the equivalent of approximately 4
minutes if pressed once. When pressed continuously, it
moves at high speed in four-minute segments.

FORWARD
button
is continuously
pressed so that the optical pick-up is moved to the
last program or when the REVERSE
button is con-
tinuously pressed past the first program, the optical
pick-up automatically returns to the start of the first
program

The FORWARD and REVERSE buttons do not oper-
ate while the PLAY or PAUSE indicator is blinking.

RUCKWARTS-TASTE

Taste gedriickt, bewegt er sich mit hoher Geschwindig-
keit in 4-Minuten-Abschnitten.

Wahrend die Wiedergabe- oder die Pausen-Anzeige
(PLAY, PAUSE) blinkt, funktioniert die Vorwarts-
und die Rickwarts-Taste (FORWARD, REVERSE)
nicht.
