6.
Remove the rubber index button (6.1) on the left handle assembly (B).
Unthread the set screw (6.2) on the left handle assembly (B) using the
smaller Allen wrench (II). Gently disconnect the handle (6.3) and flange (6.4)
from the valve body (6.5). Repeat these steps for the right handle assembly
(C).

Thread the handle mounting nut (CC) down onto the cold water valve body
(7.1), then slide the handle metal washer (BB) and handle rubber washer
(AA) onto the valve body (7.1). From underneath the tub deck (7.2), insert
the cold water valve body (7.1) with washers attached up through the hole on
the right side as you face the front end of the faucet spout (A). From above,
thread the flange (7.3) onto the valve body (7.1). Using a basin wrench,
tighten the handle mounting nut (CC) until it is securely against the underside
of the tub deck (7.2), so the flange (7.3) sits flush with the top surface of the
tub deck (7.2). Repeat for the hot water valve body (7.4) on the left side of
the faucet spout (A).
8.
Place the cold water handle (8.1) onto the right valve body (8.2), then thread
the set screw (8.3) into the base of the right handle (8.1) using the smaller Allen
wrench (II). Insert the rubber index button (8.4). Repeat for the hot water handle
(8.5) on the left valve body (8.6).
9.
Connect the end of one hose (D) to the side inlet on the hot water valve body
(9.1) on the left side of the faucet spout (A). Carefully bend the hose (D) to fit
the available space and thread the other end of the hose (D) onto the valve
stem (9.2). Connect the second hose (D) to the side inlet on the cold water
valve body (9.3) on the right side of the faucet spout (A). Thread the other
end of the hose (D) onto the valve stem (9.2). Tighten all connections with a
wrench.
10.
Attach one end of each of the water supply lines (10.1) onto the hot and cold
water valve bodies (10.2), with hot water on the left and cold water on the right.
Use 1/2 in. IPS faucet connections.
NOTE: Do not reuse existing supply lines. When installing new water supply lines,
please refer to the supply line manufacturer's installation instructions. Tighten the
supply line connections using an adjustable or basin wrench. Do not overtighten.
Attach each of the remaining ends of the water supply lines to the hot and
cold water shut-off valves and tighten with a wrench. Do not overtighten.
