4.1.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
Before first use, remove the plastic insulation strip from the battery compartment and discard it.
The battery is included inside.
Flip the scale upside down.Unscrew the screw on the battery compartment lid.Open the
battery compartment by sliding the lid to the side.Remove the plastic separator protecting
the battery from getting used prematurely in the scale.Slide the battery compartment lid in
place and attach the screw again.
