For cases involving the installation of more than one Dazebox Home under a single meter, thanks to the Power Sharing fea-
ture, it is possible to distribute the allocated power to the vehicles being charged without exceeding the total limit set via the
app. This functionality is based on a Master/Slave architecture, so it is necessary to choose one charger as the Master of the
network during installation. A Master charger can manage up to 7 Slave chargers. The configuration of Power Sharing is done
in the App (see chapter 11).
Note: the Power Sharing feature is currently not compatible with Dynamic Power Manager. This compatibility will be ensured
with future product updates.
Power Sharing connection
The Power Sharing feature is based on Modbus TCP/IP communication between chargers. Therefore, to configure this feature,
it is sufficient to connect all chargers under the same router via Ethernet wiring (see chapter 8 for Ethernet connection) or
under the same WiFi network.
Figure P shows a possible "star" connection scheme for the chargers in yellow, utilizing an Ethernet switch.
In case of a connection loss of one or more slave chargers, these will charge at a fixed minimum power (1.5kW single-phase,
4.5 kW three-phase). The Master takes this offset into account in balancing the network. Finally, complete the installation by
configuring the feature via the Daze app.

Note: It is not possible to configure and use two different Power Sharing networks under the same network connection (WiFi

or Ethernet). In situations where multiple Power Sharing networks are required, it is crucial to assign each network its own
dedicated WiFi or Ethernet connection.
Note: To ensure the proper functioning of the Power Sharing feature, the total length of the Modbus cable between the

Ethernet switch and each charger must not exceed 200 meters.
