Tape Monitor
When
recording a tape on a tape deck equipped with a monitor
mechanism
(3-head type), depress the TAPE
1 switch to monitor
the recording on the speakers.
Be sure to connect
the TAPE
IN
and TAPE OUT cords for recording and playback.
NOTE:
On
a 2-head
type
tape deck, monitoring the recording
is not
possible, but the program
source can be heard on the speakers.
Tape to Tape Dubbing
1. Connect as shown
in the diagram.
2. To
dub
from
TAPE
1 to TAPE
2, set the TAPE
2 REC
SELECTOR
to the TAPE 1 position.

or laser vision program source onto the tape.

Dubbing
If you
have
two
video
cassette
recorders,
it is possible
for
example to record onto a separate tape only certain parts off of
one tape onto which a TV program was recorded.
1. Connect the two VCR's as shown
in the Figure. tn Figure 5,
the VIDEO
INPUT
jack
is used
to connect
the
playback
VCR,
but
the
TV/DBS
or
LV
jacks can
also be
used
to
connect the VCR for playback.
2. Set the SOURCE
SELECTOR
to VIDEO, and set the VCR
for playback to PLAY.
3. Set the VCR for recording to RECORD.
4. To
monitor
the
recording,
depress
the
VCR
MONITOR
switch.
Also, as shown
in Figure 6, sound from a tape deck
can be dubbed onto the video tape.
Audio signal is recorded from TAPE 1.
SPEAKER
PLACEMENT (see Figure 4.)
The effect can also be changed by varying the direction and height
of the subspeakers.
Add the dimension
of height to examples
1 , 2 ,and
3 for even
better control of the sound field.
This model incorporates a micro computer with high perfor-
mance. In case of any malfunction due to staticelectricity, etc.,
please turn off the power switch, and after 30 seconds turn it
on again.
CAUTION:
As the RV-55 is equipped with a digital circuit, interference occurs
in the nearby FM tuner, etc.
Install the RV-55 as follows.
1. Place the
RV-55
so that it is located more than 60 cm away
from a tuner.
2. Place the AM loop antenna so that interference does not occur.
3. To connect the FM antenna, use a 75-ohm coaxial cable. When
using the feeder antenna supplied to the tuner, place and direct
it so that interference does not occur.
4. The connecting
cords from
the RV-55
audio and video jacks
should be located away from the tuner.

b. Ship via a reputabel carrier (do not use Parcel Post}
