NOTE
The appliance is delivered without a USB charger. Nevertheless, to charge

the appliance it needs to be connected to the electrical power mains by
a USB charger. For this purpose, the following instructions on treating
electricity are applied:
• Strictly comply with the safety operating instructions of the respective USB
charger.
• When you connect the USB charger, make sure that the mains voltage com-
plies with the battery charger's specified requirements.
• Only charge the appliance with the USB charger indoors.
• Protect the USB charger from humidity, heat and direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the charger cable does not come into contact with the hot parts
of the appliance.
• Always make sure that the charger cable is extended along its full length to
avoid damage due to overheating.
• Only disconnect the charger cable from the electrical current socket by gripping
and detaching the USB charger. Never pull directly on the charger cable.
• Disconnect the USB charger from the electrical mains when it is not necessary.
• When storing the appliance away, never wrap the charger cable around it.
• Remove the charger cable from the appliance when it is charging.

Indications on using the rechargeable battery (6)
• Do not damage the appliance's rechargeable battery, for example, through ac-
cidental falls, impact or vibration. Do not continue using a damaged recharge-
able battery. When in doubt, contact your dealer.
• Charge the battery on a regular basis to prevent it from completely discharging
and possibly causing a defect of the appliance.
• The provided charger cable is not suitable for data transmission.
• If liquid should leak out of the rechargeable battery, immediately wear protective
gloves before handling the appliance. Do not continue using the appliance.
Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin or eyes,
immediately seek medical advice. The appliance is intended exclusively for per-
sonal use; it is not conceived for commercial use.
5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
1. After washing, completely dry your hair.
2. Brush your hair to completely remove all knots.
3. The appliance needs to be charged before using it for the first time.
4. The device features a safety lock. To unlock the appliance, firmly press the
safety lock button (7).
