WARNING
Do not use chemical hair styling products (such as hair spray, mousse or gel)
before straightening your hair, to avoid burning or damaging it.
CHARGING THE APPLIANCE
1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off and in a stable position.
2. Connect the charger cable to the USB port to charge the appliance (8).
3. Connect the other end of the charger cable to a USB charger and plug it
into an electric socket.
4. Make sure that all of the cable connections are connected correctly, otherwi-
se the appliance might not connect adequately.
5. The flashing light on the appliance indicates that it is charging and shows the
charge percentage (20%, 75%, 100%). As soon as the charging process is
over, the light indicator will stop flashing.
6. To prevent damage to the rechargeable battery, the appliance must not be
charged for more than 2 hours.
7. The appliance offers about 30 minutes of autonomy, depending on use and
the characteristics of your hair.
8. Charge the appliance before the battery goes completely flat. In this way, the
complete capacity of the rechargeable batteries will remain intact for longer.
9. The appliance can be charged using a different USB cable, as long as it is
compliant with the technical specifications.
10. The appliance can also be charged by connecting the supplied USB cable to
the USB port on a computer. Nevertheless, for technical reasons, this char-
ging process may require a lot of time; we therefore recommend charging
with a USB charging device.
NOTE
This device is also equipped with a USB outlet (9) that works as an external battery
to charge cell phones in case of emergency.
APPLIANCE OPERATION
1. Open the appliance by pressing the safety lock button (7).
2. Turn the appliance on by the "ON/OFF" (1) button. The light indicator turns on.
3. Use the button for temperature control (2) to set the required temperature
level (165°C, 185°C or 205°C). The thicker the hair, the higher the selected
temperature can be. Chemically treated hair should be straightened at a lower
level.
4. The light indicator flashes as the appliance heats up. As soon as it stops
flashing, this means that it has reached the required temperature.
5. Part your hair into small sections of no more than five centimetres. Part your
hair into manageable sections with clips.
6. Open the appliance, place a section of hair on the surface between the two
hot irons (5) and close it.
7. Slowly glide the appliance evenly down along the hair all the way to the ends.
