Decommissioning and disposal
Decommission
1. Disconnect all devices in the aquarium from the power supply.
2. Remove the accessories.
3. Remove the water from the aquarium.
Storage
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Do not subject the aquarium to adverse weather conditions or temperatures below freezing.
1. Clean the aquarium.
2. Store the aquarium in a dry, frost-proof place.
Disposal
WARNING! Danger of cutting injuries. Eye injuries due to splinters of flying glass
Shattering the glass panes of the aquarium can lead to eye injuries caused by splinters of flying glass,
as well as cutting injuries.
▶ To dispose of the glass planes with the household waste, do not shatter them.
‧ An aquarium or any aquarium furniture that can no longer be used should not be disposed of as
a unit, but rather disassembled into individual parts according to the type of material and then
recycled. The aquarium or aquarium furniture will be accepted free of charge at municipal collection
points or recycling centres.
‧ The product packaging is made up of recyclable materials. Dispose of them in an environmentally
responsible manner and take them for recycling.
When disposing of the electrical appliances, pay attention to the relevant statutory regulations.
