SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted in folding bicycles.
• This child bicycle seat must not be used on EPAC / Pedelecs above 25 km/h
/ 15,5mph.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to bicycles fitted with rear
shock absorbers.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to motorized vehicles such as
mopeds, scooters.
• This child junior bicycle seat is only suitable for carrying children with a
maximum weight of 35 Kg, a minimum height of 110 cm, and above 6 years
of age, that are able to secure and keep their balance autonomosly on the
seat during the ride.
• The total weight of the cyclist and the child transported must not exceed
the maximum permitted load permitted for the bicycle. Information on the
maximum load can be found in the operating instructions of the bicycle. You
can also contact the manufacturer for this question.
• The seat may only be mounted on a bicycle suitable for the attachment
of such additional loads. Please consult your bicycle or lugagge carrier
instructions manual.
• The position of the child bicycle seat must be adjusted so that the bicycle
rider does not touch the child bicycle seat with the feet when in motion.
SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING THE SEAT IN THE BICYCLE
1. Unscrew the hand knob (G1), while simultaneously lifting the security ring
(G2). Open the jaw (G3) to an aperture wider than the luggage carrier.
2. Pull the safety belt for the bicycle frame (C) upwards. Make sure it does not
interfere with mounting the seat to the bicycle.
3. Place the seat on the luggage carrier and then fasten the hand knob (G1)
so that the seat remains slightly attached to the luggage carrier.
4. The child seat has a centre of gravity (F) (inscribed on the child seat) that
must be positioned in front of the rear wheel axle. If it is positioned behind
the axle, the distance must not exceed 10 cm. Special care must also be
taken when positioning the child seat to ensure that the cyclist does not
touch the child seat with his feet when cycling. Note: In Germany, according
to the German Traffic Law StVZO, bicycle seats may only be fixed so that 2/3
of the seat depth or the Gravity Center of the seat is located between the
front and rear axle of the bicycle. The seat shall be installed as close to the
saddle as possible.
5. Fasten the hand knob (G1) so that the seat is well attached to the luggage
carrier. As soon as the hand knob is well tightened, make sure the security
lever is properly held as shown in the picture.
6. Shaking the seat to make sure it´s properly and securely attached to the
luggage carrier. This extremely important for cyclist and child safety.
7. Start to open the safety belt buckle (C1) and pass it around the bicycle
frame. Adjust the belt it as shown in the picture, under tension. Make sure

• It's very important to adjust correctly the seat and its component parts for
optimum comfort and safety of the child. It's also important that the seat
does not slope forward, so that the child does not tend to slide out of it. It is
also important that the backrest slope backward slightly.
• Check if all parts of the bicycle function correctly with the child bicycle
seat mounted.
• Check the instructions of the bicycle, and If you have any doubts on fitting
the child bicycle seat to your bicycle, please contact your bicycle supplier for
further information.
FOR LUGGAGE CARRIERS: SPECIFIC FEATURES
• This junior bicycle seat must be assembled on a carrier with at least 38kg/
83.78 Lbs of capacity. (35 kg + Weight of the seat).
• For safety reasons this seat shall only be fitted to luggage carriers in
accordance with EN ISO 11243:2016.
• This Junior bicycle seat must be assembled on luggage carriers with a width
between 120 and 175 mm, a tube diameter between 10-16 mm.
• The child bicycle seat must be assembled on bicycles with wheels with
diameters of 26", 27,5", 28" and 29".

cyclist safety.
8. The correct position of E1/E1.2 must have in account child's height, correct
ergonomics, and available space on the struts. This choice will determinate
the location of the entire footrest protection system. Apply the protective
film (E5) around the fixing area of the metal plate (E1/E1.2). Polisport
provides the film for struts protection; we are not accountable for any
damages. Choose between E1 (17-21mm) or E1.2 (21-27mm) based on the
struts diameter. Secure the chosen metal plate (E1/E1.2) and insert the
fastening block (E2).
9. Place the zip ties (D4) in the wheel protector (D3) as shown in the picture.
Is mandatory to install the 6 zip ties on each wheel protector. Start to attach
the zip ties (D4) to the bicycle seat stay. Attach the other 3 zip ties to the
carrier stay by choosing the holes that better fit to your bicycle wheel size.
Follow the picture instructions for the guidance.
10. Cut the remaining Zip Ties (D4) ends and leave at least 4mm as shown in
the picture. Make sure you have followed all the previous steps before you go
to the next instruction. Test your bicycle wheel to make sure your wheel turn
around with no issue. Repeat this process on both sides of the bicycle. Make
sure you have both wheel protectors installed as described in the instruction.
You're now ready to go to the next step to install the retractable footrest.
