Muting
You can deactivate the microphone in
your handset during an external call.
The caller then hears a wait melody.

Using the directory and lists
You can store up to 200 entries in the
directory and e-mail directory (the actual
number depends on the size of the indi-
vidual entries).
You create the directory and e-mail direc-
tory for your individual handset.
Directory
You can store numbers and matching
names in the directory.

With the handset in idle status, open
the directory by pressing s.

Note:
You can assign a number to a key for speed
dialling to the number in the directory
(speed dialling) (page 16).

Enter anniversary if required (page 12).

Save the changes.
If your phone is connected to a PABX you
may have to save a dialling code. Please
refer to the user-guide for your PABX.
Selecting a directory entry

Open the directory.
You have the following options:
Use s to scroll to the entry until the

required name is selected.

Enter the first characters of the name
(max. 10), or scroll to the entry with
s.
