PC Interface
You can connect the handset (page 30) to
your computer using a data cable. Your
computer can then communicate with
your handset using a program you can
download free of charge at www.siemens-
mobile.com/gigasetsl44). You can access
your handset directory and load sounds
from the computer into the handset.

During the game, you can switch the
sound on and off by pressing and holding
the star key * and you can pause and
continue the game by pressing the mes-
sage key f.
Writing and editing text
The following rules apply when writing a
text:

The cursor is controlled with

Characters are added to the left of the
cursor.
Press the star key * briefly to
u
switch from the "Abc" mode to "123",
and from "123" to "abc" and from "abc"
back to "Abc" (upper case: 1st letter
upper case, all others lower case).
Press the star key * before enter-
ing the letter.
Press the star key * and hold:
u
Shows the selection line of the charac-
ters assigned to the star key.
u
The first letter of the name of directory
entries is automatically capitalised, fol-
lowed by lower case letters.
Writing names (without predictive text)
When you press a key and hold it, the
characters of that key appear in the bot-
tom display line and are highlighted one
after another. When you release the key
the highlighted character is inserted into
the input field.
You can see in the display whether upper
case, lower case or digits are selected.
