Handset settings
Activating/deactivating the
room monitor

Press the display key.
Room Monitor
Select and press
Room M.:
To activate, select On. To deactivate,
select Off.
Level:
Set sensitivity for the required noise
level (Low or High).

Save the changes (page 10).
The room monitor has now been activated
or deactivated.
Handset settings
Your handset is preconfigured, but you
can change the settings to suit your indi-
vidual requirements.
Shortcuts for functions
and numbers
You can assign a number or function to
the left display key, the function key ú
and the numerical keys Q and 2
to O.
You can then dial the number or start the
function by pressing a key.
Assigning to a numerical key/function
key or the left display key
Precondition: Neither the numerical key,
the function key, nor the left display key
has yet been assigned a number or func-
tion.

Press the display key
and hold the numerical key or the func-
tion key ú.

The list of possible key assignments is
opened. You can choose between the fol-
lowing options:
Quick Dial
Assign a number from the directory to
the key.
The directory is opened.

Select an entry and press
If you delete or edit the entry in the
directory, this will not affect the assign-
ment to the numerical key or display
key.
Set Appoints. / Alarm Clock
Assign the menu for setting and acti-
vating an appointment or the alarm
clock to a key (page 21):

Assign the menu for recording a new
sound to a key (page 20).
