Troubleshooting
Contact our service centre for any malfunctions that you cannot remedy yourself. You
will find the contact data on the enclosed warranty card.
Problem
The product does not work.
The food is not cooked.
The food is not uniformly
cooked.
The fried food is not crisp
enough.
The frying basket cannot be
slid all the way into the
product.
White smoke emerges from
the product.
Possible cause
The mains plug is not
connected to a socket.
The timer 6 is not set.
The fill quantity is too high.
Foods are too close to one
another.
You have used food that is not
suitable for the product.
The frying basket is overfilled.
The food is greasy.
The chip pan shows fatty
residues from previous
cooking.

Connect the product to a
properly installed socket.
Set the timer to the desired
position to set the cooking
time and start the cooking
process.
Fill the frying basket 9 with
small pieces. Small pieces
cook more evenly.
Shake the frying basket to
spread the food evenly. Some
food has to be shaken after
approximately half of the
cooking time.
Use oven-baked or slightly
greasy snacks for crisper
results.
Do not fill the frying basket
higher than the MAX
marker 7.
Fat drips into the chip pan
when preparing fatty food.
The fat causes more heat than
normal in the chip pan - this
does not impair the product
or the cooking result.
Fatty residues burn in the chip
pan. Clean the chip pan after
each use.
